The National’s Star Award recognizes an individual’s hard work and dedication to the Copperas Cove Independent School District for the 2009 – 2010 school year.

Information contained in the nomination materials will be treated confidentially and used only by the selection committee.

Award Guidelines

• Who is eligible for nomination?
• Educators: teachers, counselors, administrators
• Volunteers: includes anyone who has worked without pay such as classroom or field trip volunteers, tutors, PTA/PTO/Booster Club, committee members

• Educators must have been working with CCISD during the 2009 - 2010 school year.
• This is an individual award. Nominations recognizing a group of people will not be considered.
• Volunteer nominees must have volunteered a minimum of 25 hours in the district for the 2009 – 2010 school year.
• Nominations should include specific examples of the nominee’s service, excellence, leadership, attitude, and commitment toward student achievement.
• Nominations can be emailed, faxed, or mailed in and must be received no later than the last business day of the month for consideration.
• All forms must be filled in completely for consideration.
