Teach Children To Save

Teach Children to Save is a national program that organizes banker volunteers to help young people develop a lifelong savings habit. Since the program started in 1997, some 123,000 bankers have taught savings skills to more than 5 million students.

On April 15-19, 2013, Helen Barr, The National's Branch Operations Officer at Copperas Cove, taught money savings skills to students of Miss Jewell Elementary in Copperas Cove.
